News From the Field
August Update
Onward Christian Soldiers India style! Preaching the Word of God in the villages about a month ago.  So Thankful to see this! Thank you Pastor K and your other faithful pastors for not being afraid to preach on the highways and byways!

It is also interesting to note, that in a village of about 10,000 people, most of whom were unchurched (Hindu's),  over 500 now regularly attend church each Sunday. There is also Sunday School each Sunday, and outreach services are held regularly.

------------------------------------------------------------------

The Foreign Mission board has just received a report from Guatemala written by our missionary Ryan Ruotsala who has been on the ground in that country for ten years full time.  Ryan is fluent in Spanish, so he can teach and preach in the language of that beautiful country!

At their upcoming meeting next month, The Foreign Mission Board will once again be reviewing together as a group,  all the work that the Lord is allowing us to participate in,  in His Vineyard  around the world.
----------------------------------------------
Matthew 10:7 - And as ye go, preach, saying, The kingdom of heaven is at hand.

Special Back to School Invitation!

The Foreign Mission would like to convey a particular need to any energetic young or middle aged people (up to age 65!)    We NEED foreign language speakers!  This would help out immensely in the mission field!

Would you consider praying about this and begin learning a new language?  How would this help the FM?  Well, for starters, the moment we land in a foreign country, it would be great to have someone who can communicate with all the people we meet along the way, including cab and bus drivers!   Second, in some cases we are short on translators, especially when we have youth events, Sunday School, etc.    Third, we would desire to know beyond a shadow of any doubt, that in all cases, what we are preaching is being translated in the proper way in Word, Spirit and tone!

Ultimately, we would love to have more Preachers that will learn new languages and be able to preach in them!   That would be just so wonderful!

Does any of this interest you?  Please click here if so!
