Would you like to join us?
The Foreign Mission has opening on trips in 2020 and invite you to join us.
We are starting a mission training soon.
(See below for more details)
The mission training is open to anyone. Are you interested in learning more about missions, interested in going on a mission trip (soon or in the future), or just want to learn more about your Foreign Mission?

Each missionary of course should be journeying by the faith of the Lord Jesus Christ by God's Grace, before coming on a mission trip. This mission training consists of lessons about the Spiritual and practical things one encounters before, during and after a mission trip.

In Short, what does mission training consist of?
- 19 lessons received via email over the course of a few weeks.
- It is interactive and thought provoking, with Bible Verses to read, follow up questions, and information about everything from preparing your heart to packing your bags.
- Bible verses which show the reason we go on missions, and which show us the Great Commission.
- Suggested Packing list.
- Mission team covenant / release form
Blessings from generous hearts

Pastor Benmark's daughter Agnes is struggling with Leukemia in Kenya. Please continue to pray for Agnes and her family.   She was helped a bit this month from the Emergency Medical Fund.

This month the EMF has helped people in the Philippines, Africa, and Guatemala.  It is such a blessing to share the provisions as the Lord provides!

This box of shoes and one other like it, was sent back with Pastor Timothy to Kenya  He was recently visiting in Minnesota. This donation came from 'Crocs and Corn For Kenya'. This will bless many in Kenya.  The 12 year old donor will receive pictures in the coming days of those who received this blessing.

Bibles to the Nations

Each month we attempt to distribute Bibles around the world through your donations to the Bible Fund.

Requests are received often;
This one is from Rwanda.

Dear Rev. John,
God's peace!

Reverend, we would like to request you a donation of 100 Kinyarwanda Bibles. As you know we have many church members who need Bibles.

We shall be very glad if you grant this request as you used to do.

God bless you and God bless your family,

In Jesus Christ, Pastor Jean Claude

(Note from John R. : I am not a Reverend, rather just an ordinary servant.  However, in an effort to keep the letters received as they come, I did not want to change his wording.  Should any Pastors around the world see this, please kindly take note!)

   Other Highlights or Events

Did you know the Foreign Mission Sends out a Christmas Catalog every year?

There are many great organizations that send Christmas giving catalogs out this time of year. This is such an incredible way to give at Christmas time! Did you know the Foreign Mission has a gift catalog, we follow up each gift with a photo and a note. You can personally see where your gift was given. You could also come with us some year to see those you blessed, should you so choose!  Be watching in the next month for our FM gift catalog!

The Foreign Mission fully understands that nothing can be accomplished except that God through His Holy Spirit would move His children to help in their individual capacity.  We certainly give all Honor, Praise, and Glory to God.  Items are put here only so you can see the various ways that you can help in the Lord's Vineyard, even if you cannot leave your home! Prayer is of top importance of course!

Praise & Prayer and Upcoming events section:

* Pray for the ALC of Nigeria.   Pray that the Political and Religious unrest and disturbances which sometimes cause hardship across their country, does not hinder their worship.

* Pray that the government of India would allow Christianity to have free course.

* Pray for the ones we work with who suffer so much poverty that basic medications, food supplies, and even Bibles, can be out of their reach at times.

* Pray for persecuted Christians world wide!   Many are dying or being misplaced due to their faith in Christ.

* There had been a lot of unrest in Guatemala. The government has taken extra precautions to end the problem, thus leading to no public gatherings in certain areas for a time. This has since cleared up a bit,  and the Christians are happy to gather again, although they do so earlier in the day so that they are finished by evening.  Hopefully the government order will be released on November 10 as scheduled. Please pray for those in Guatemala!

O give thanks unto the LORD, for he is good: for his mercy endureth for ever.
Psalm 107:1

Top 5 List

Church building fund:  We have a small specially donated church completion fund set up.   So far several church roofs have been completed.  The FM believes it best for the local congregations to put their own prayers, sweat, and treasure into their own church so that each congregant takes personal interest in the church.   We do enjoy helping such congregations finish their building, hence the fund.  We have many current needs for church buildings!

Emergency Medical Fund:

Poor Family Fund:
Help in those situations where a family is not able to educate, feed, or otherwise support their children due to death, injury, sickness, or poverty.  Each situation is monitored closely.

The Bible Fund; We get many requests for Bibles. It is such a blessing to give the WORD of LIFE! Click here to donate.
